About Ronnie Tsunami, Founder of the AI Learning Institute
Ronnie Tsunami is an author, educator, technologist, and Veteran who served in the US Air Force as a computer operations specialist, as well as a network engineer for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) at the Pentagon in Washington D.C, and Director of Information Services for the Congressional Commission on Veterans Affairs. He also served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) of a nationwide technology training company managing technology training and education programs for 150 colleges and universities in the US.
Ronnie specializes in app development and applied artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and human-centered technology. With over 30 years of IT experience, including helping Microsoft to build and launch the Microsoft IT Academy, which was implemented in thousands of academic institutions around the world, Ronnie brings decades of real-world technical experience into modern AI education.
He has trained and consulted with enterprise organizations worldwide, including UPS, NASA, the US Air Force, Time Warner Cable/Spectrum, Medtronics, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield, helping individuals and teams understand emerging technologies in clear, practical, and ethical ways. His work focuses on making AI accessible, empowering professionals, creators, and communities to use AI as a tool for productivity, insight, and innovation—not replacement.
Ronnie is the founder of multiple learning platforms and technology tools and is known for his ability to translate complex systems into simple, actionable frameworks. At the AI Learning Institute, he contributes a grounded, human-first approach to artificial intelligence education.
